What a nice way to commemorate 9/11 on Wednesday: A Texas soldier who served in Afghanistan and was honored with the Purple Heart after losing a leg is moving to the Houston area, into a completely free home.
It’s in Alvin, and wheelchair-accessible. The Texas Sentinels Foundation provided the home and the State of Texas took care of the taxes. What a great way to honor his sacrifice, and give this heroic single father of a 6 year-old a place to live near his family!
