Maroon 5 are revving up to headline the 2013 Honda Civic Tour, kicking off in August.
Adam Levine announced the summer jaunt in a video released this morning (April 1), telling fans to “get excited,” which shouldn’t be too hard since Kelly Clarkson is joining the band’s tour as a special guest.
“It’s just going to be a musical summer with some really great people on this tour,” he said.
The tour, which will travel throughout the U.S. through October, not only features Clarkson but also Tony Lucca, who sang for Team Adam on the second season of The Voice. Lucca will open for Maroon 5 on select dates along with singer Rozzi Crane, who just finished a tour with the band, and R&B singer PJ Morton, who has previously played keyboards in M5’s live band.
